The cromwell best western hotel was in a great location; literally a minute walk from glouster road tube station which is on both the picadilly line which will take you to popular sights such as covent garden, picadilly circus and leicester square and also on the circle line, so very accessible to wherever you want to go. Also the resturants and bars by the hotel are great too. The hotel was modern and the staff were very helpful; we got there two hours before we were supposed to check in and they checked us in straight away which was good.....However the room size was tiny even for london standards and the heating in the room didn't work, this wasn't what i expected considering the price we paid.

Head up Gloucester Road towards the park and on the left, you'll find a great cafe called Soher with wonderful coffee and smoothies for breakfast. It's quiet, clean and so different from chain cafes. Close by is Little India which is small but with real curries (ie not from a jar) and friendly staff although they do have a disconcerting habit of walking up and down past your table all the time. I've been in both places on my own and it wasn't a problem.

You will pay a bit more for this room, however you won't be disappointed when compared to what other hotels might be charging for the same price. If you are willing to spend a little extra for comfort but don't want to break the bank, this hotel is for you.

The hotel is simple and very well located (3 minutes walking from tube station - tube zone one). If you want a non-expensive hotel just to sleep, the BW Cromwell is a nice pick.

Best Western the Cromwell has modern, recently refurbished room, simple but elegant design and is centrally placed close to Gloucester road tube and walking distance from Kensington High Street, the V&A and Harrods, among others. Our room was an OK size and quiet. The only complaint I have is that we were given a basement room without being warned about this beforehand. Other than this, we had a pleasant stay and can recommend this to other travellers who want pretty but no-frills accommodation in London.

Museums and close to tube for other locations... good for a relaxed start to the day by having a coffee in one of the street bars...
