The Himalaia Soldeu is a traditional chalet-style hotel located 500 metres from the centre of Soldeu and two kilometres from the Gran Valira ski area. The 106 guestrooms are decorated in Tibetan style with patterned fabrics, wood furnishing and open to balconies and ensuite bathrooms. In-room amenities include satellite television, direct-dial phones, clock radios, hair dryers, and refrigerators. Guests can work up a sweat in the fully-equipped fitness room, enjoy a game of billiards in the games room or relax in the sauna, steam room and massage room. Directions
A regular shuttle-bus service is available from between terminals A and B to Andorra (booking compulsory). Alternatively, the airport train station is a short walk from the terminals and taxis are available in front of the airport terminals. Driving directions: From the airport, head north and continue ahead to Cady Tunnel. Cross Barcelona, Terrassa, Berga, La Seu d'Urgell and arrive in Andorra.

Quite basic rooms
The room was quite basic and some things I thought a bit weird! Sink and cupboards but no cooker or kettle only a microwave. Fridge but only 2 bottles of water - 'minibar' was a package deal - could not order just what you want. Hotel facilities sounded really good but didnt have time to try.
