not impressed

The hotel is nice and clean but that's it. For the amount they charge I expected much more. You cannot even buy food/beverages which are not all inclusive and the food is the same everyday.

Not impressed

The staff was very rude and no one gave information freely without being asked. Could not let my children roam free due to the fact the resort lets anyone on the property, from hookers to just men pulling up with jetskis to rent anyone is allowed on the property. there are no tags or anything to show who with the resort, not even bracelets for the customers. Watch out for the side street that everyone from that area strolls on the property from. The prices are much higher than even their own airport for any type of souvenirs. I originally was given a room with a view of the parkinglot, after demanding a room change my family I were treated very badly the remainder of the stay. The worst part about this whole trip was I watch the resort staff due the same thing to another elderly couple from Canada. My family and I give full warning to anyone going to this resort to avoid this place if you want a relaxing vacation.

Beautiful location, Beautiful people

This hotel is quite aways from the Gap area( 1 hour bus ride min) If you are looking to surf and body board look closer to that area. Diving is awesome Reefers and Wreckers is a great friendly shop. Take in the East coast, enjoy the rum shops. Men.. make sure you have long pants for dinners and a collared shirt for the higher end dining.

satisfactory

My only real gripe was the maintenance of the hotel and grounds was always carried out in the day time and always very noisily , just wheeling bins around cutting grass etc seemed to be done with maximum noise, having said that a relaxing place to stay with great albeit noisy staff

nice hotel

This hotel was amazing...so many things to do and so huge you can get lost on your first day. Great food, mostly sit down service for lunch and dinner. The Italian restaurant called La Smaritta is excellent! I would give the food a five star service. the staff was nice. It was nice to have the option to visit the Beach club and spa, although it was a smaller resort, it caters to adults only. The Village was more family kid oriented. They also offered shuttle bus service to Bridgetown from Monday to Thursday. Very good if you want to go out of the resort and do some cheap shopping. Everything there seems cheap, such as name brand watches like TAG, OMEGA, Movado. Do your research if you want to purchase any big ticket items. They are duty free and no tax over there. The only complaint I had would be the beach is rockier than I expected. However, it's not so bad and bearable. You must swim with the turtles, they are so cute and you can touch them.

winter sun..perfect

hotel was really great for my wife & i & our 10 year old daughter. she was able to play with friends..safely. there were security staff on the beach, but we never felt they were needed..but it gives peace of mind. wish there were more sun brollies per lounger..bit lacking!!the 2 best pools were child free which was a shame for us as they were both by a lovely social eating area..but if u havnt got kids..great. hotel was really great otherwise.barbados is wonderful though..my 5th time to the country. recommended.

Can't wait to go back

We had a wonderful time at the resort. This was our first stay at an all inclusive. Will always stay at one now. Our room was perfect, it faced the beach and courtyard. There is plenty to do on and off property. The staff was very helpful and courteous. They bent over backwards to make our stay perfect. My husband and I were there to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary. Will definitely take the family next time!!

Most, most disappointing

Suggest you not go there. You may not get the room you booked nor in the section you requested. If you have issues while there getting them resolved will be a distraction from your vacation time. On checkin they tell you they have booked a reservation for you but it is a restaurant where reservations are not required (misleading)
