Hotel often hosts "Hollywood" events, after-parties etc. Can make the rank-and-file guest feel lost and marginalized. At times, room was left dusty / grimy. Check-in staff was disinterested / distracted by that evening's event but the restaurants are excellent. Good location too - right in the thick of things.

Don`t go if you want a peaceful nights rest we were to tired to do half what we wanted to do.

Great, character-filled hotel. The rooms are a wee bit worn in a few places, but all the key things are current and in good condition. The pool and the diner restaurant on Hollywood Blvd (25 degrees) are great and the staff very friendly, if a little slow sometimes. I'll be back.

We enjoyed our stay - great staff! Very friendly! I must complement the Valet staff - they are freindly, helpful and make a great first impression! Thought the location was very good - shopping and sights are near!

I have stayed here before but this was my worse experience I had to chang rooms 3 times the air conditioning noise was deafening and kept me up. The attitude of the managemenet is distatsteful and I will never stay here again.

Really make use of the concirege, we were able to get great seats to see the LA Dodgers play for about thirty pounds each on the day. Baseball is so much fun to watch!

Go to santa monica 3rd st for shopping! and hire a convertible while you're there with sat nav. well worth it.
