"Very Good Quality at a "Bargain" rate"

As a party of 4 people travelling we had two rooms in opposite blocks. One room smelt musty but after a solid spray of "Febreeze" the smell was dealt with. The other room was perfectly fine. Having a fridge was a real bonus as you could keep your own drinks cold ready for exploring the city. The only downside was the size of the bath towels. In an era where most people go for large "bath sheets" the small towels were not the best. That said, as this was the only real criticism the hotel was doing things right. Check-in was quick despite there being a lot of people. We ate breakfast in the restaurant once which was fine. The list of directions and restaurants given at check-in was welcome but it would have been good to have had clear directions on how to walk to the tram stop - We did ask and were told that people drive. As we were going for dinner and night at the baseball with drinks driving was not an option. You really must, must check out "Kelly's Steakhouse" a 3 minute walk from the hotel under the freeway. This was an excellent meal and easily one of the best steaks of our trip.
