Staff were all friendly with help in planning any trips or offering advice for best places to eat and drink. Despite Lombard street itselt not being a great place, Chestnut is just behind the hotel and is full of private restaurants and bars, fun and safe area. Fishermans Wharf is a good 25 min walk away, but the walk along the coastline is a great refreshing way of waking up in the morning

This hotel is in safe location with good access to buses and places to eat and drink! The bad points are, that it was very noisy with banging doors, people moving around in there rooms above us all night long for some reason..... Noise also from the road outside. The staff were ok, but found them a little strange and one guy prentended to ring us a taxi then said we would get one on the road quicker.......
