"Central SANFRAN hotel - enjoyable stay"

We are a young 50 years old couple and stayed for 4 nights on a flying city break to SF. We found the hotel to be well equipped, with luxurious bedding and lovely bathroom with Gilchrist and Soames toiletries. Everything was up to standard apart from the base of the bath which could have done with a good bleaching. The staff were eager to help although those on the desk could learn to be a bit more friendly - but overall we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was really central - 5 mins walk from the Powell St BART, 5 mins walk to Union Square, Macys and Chinatown. The only downside is that we would have liked inclusive breakfast.” 10/04/2009
