I stayed on the fifth floor, but the water pressure in the shower was very weak. Despite booking a "deluxe" room, I got a room with essentially no view and next to (i) the elevator, (ii) ice-making machine AND (iii) storage room for room service, while the hotel did not seem to be fully booked. I had to remind the front desk to get my morning newspaper. Also, room would not typically be cleaned and serviced until later in a day. The only thing I liked was bed, which was comfortable.

We recently stayed at the Campton Place hotel during our vacation the first week of August. We enjoyed everything. The ambiance, the service, the hotel was everything and more than we could have ever asked for. We HIGHLY recommend this hotel for those who are visiting the San Francisco area. The location in union square was perfrect. Definatley the center of the upscale shopping mecca: Tifanny and Co, Macy's, Armani, Louis Vuitton, Coach, etc. We will definatley be staying at the Campton Place on our next visit!!

I had never stayed at a Taj hotel before, and was thoroughly impressed. The room was modern and had one of the best uses of space I've seen in a hotel. All services from front desk to housekeeping were very courteous and paid great attention to detail. The evening bed turn-down service was the best I have seen. I liked seeing a good array of Indian TV channels in addition to full US cable. I definitely recommend this hotel and will look forward to staying at Taj hotels in the future.

I was searching for a convenient location to Union Square. I didn't want the best but wanted a "good" experience. I got a "great" experience. With the exception of one minor slip of a front desk person, our entire stay could not have been better. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful with our every need. They went out of their way to cater to our every wish. We couldn't have been happier!

I just cant fault the hotel as a place to stay in SF. It is an ideal location, has superb rooms at very good prices and the service and staff are excellent.

Stayed here for a few days while moving daughter to bay area for college. Will make this hotel my "base" when I visit my daughter in the future. Loved the hotel, especially the very helpful staff. They went above and beyond to help us.

This is the most beautiful hotel! The staff was very professional and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was beautiful with pillow top beds and feather pillows and comforter. We had turn down service each night and they left us chocolates, bottled water and put slippers on each side of the bed. We will definitely stay here next time we visit San Francisco!

This is among the best hotel experiences of my life. The bed was incredibly plush and comfortable, the tub was deep, and the furnishings were lovely. Furthermore, the staff were incredibly friendly and professional. I particularly loved the bed turndown each evening. I absolutely will seek out Campton Place when I return to San Francisco.

We stayed at Campton place in april, the experience was so wonderful, the hotel is excellent and chic. We have been in other hotels of the leading hotels of the world and as always the service was outstanding. The room beautiful, the restaurant and the food excellent and the service of all personnel in general extremely polite and professional. Excellent just excellent. We recommend this hotel without any doubt.
