If visiting over the weekend and planning on doing some sightseeing, buy the 3 day MUNI passport for 18 bucks. Its easy to understand and very user/family friendly

There are numerous great restaurants located within walking distance of the hotel, but Belden Place, an alley within 10 minutes walk of the hotel, offers 7 great diverse restaurant options, all excellent and moderately priced.

The hotel offers free bottled water, coffee and tea, and internet service. These were nice ammenities. It was also a good location for us because the tours we took left out of the ferry building which was only a 5 minute walk. This hotel is close to the Embarcadero station so we took the BART from the airport to there for only $5.35 each. Cheaper than a taxi or shuttle.

New, clean, comfortable, walking distance to North Beach restaurants. Will definitely stay there again. Great weekend price.

We have stayed at this hotel before and had a larger room. Although the room was small, overall this hotel is good value.

Not much around the hotel, but in safe area. With some effort you can walk to some of the city's attractions.

The hotel was so quiet and in a great area. We stayed in a kitchenette (it had a king size bed with a single size sleeper couch there is no division in rooms however, just a really big entertainment center to serve as a "wall") and it was so comfortable. As a note, they provide everything you need (i.e. plates, glasses, silverware, pots, pans, mixing bowls, cutting knives) in case you want to cook in the kitchen. I loved it here and would recommend it to anyone. Only drawback is there is no ice machine, only a filtered water dispenser in the hallway. I would come prepared with your own beverages to place in the fridge. That's it...my only complaint! As a side note, I relied on other reviews regarding parking...please realize parking on the street is EXTREMELY difficult to find (not sure if it was because it was summertime or what) so be prepared to pay for parking. Most in the area are $38 a night. We purchased tickets for an open top bus tour that were good for 2 days (you can find these types of tours originating in Union Square) and didnt need our car. The cost ranges from $25-$32 per adult and in my opinion it is well worth it. Especially if you find one that will take you on a full loop for one price. I dont remember the name of the company, but the buses have an American Flag on the side of the bus. These will take you to the Golden Gate Bridge, Pier 39, Chinatown, etc. Oh, and make sure you bring a jacket! : )

This is a nice business hotel in a great location. Rooms are small, but are clean and comfortable. Location is quiet.
