see all hotels in Union Square - Convention Center"Lobby nice but that about it"by J from mANCHESTER
Location fantastic, but that is the only reason for the price. The room was small but perhaps the worse thing about our stay was the bathroom. It was obviously converted from a small room of some sorts as a make shift shower screen was attached over the bath. It was of very poor structural quality but also quite filthy with mould and mildew. I would recommend the hotel completely refurbishes the bathroom. The only reason we didn't move is the hotel was full (people were complaining of lost reservations when we arrived) and after 2wks of travelling around USA we just wanted to stay in the same room for 3days before returning home. The hotel description gave an impression of luxury and quality which we found misleading. I think the only reason they can charge prices in the higher bracket is the location only. I next time I would go a few streets further from union square and go for a nicer hotel.
