"Great value motor inn"

It's not fancy but it's clean, the rooms are big and well equipped and for the money, it's great value. The staff were very helpful and gave us a choice of rooms. Our room was newly decorated and had a fridge, table, tv and huge, very comfortable bed. The bathroom was fine, not luxurious but adequate with decent pressure from the shower and toiletries were provided too. Breakfast is a small buffet of toast, english and american muffins, cereal bars, tea and coffee. If this is not to your taste La Luna is in a great location. Union St and Chestnut St are only a block or two away and have loads of cafes, bars, shops and restaurants. The Marina district is a short walk and Fisherman's Wharf and Cable cars about a 20-25 minute walk. No 30 bus will take you to China Town and Union Square. It's a great value place to stay if you're just looking for a clean room and a bed in a decent location but it's no frills as you would expect.” 12/02/2009
