We were greeted with a warm welcome as soon as we stepped out of the taxi. The service was friendly and efficient during our stay. Our room was large and comfortable, with a great view over San Francisco. The restaurant on the 46th floor served good food and again views were fantastic. If you want to stay in central downtown, then this is a great choice.

Tried to put us in a smoking room with 2 doubles despite request for non-smoking king. Had to speak to several managers before getting non-smoking queen. Be careful.

Perfect location. Can walk to everything or take the cable car around the corner. BART is just a short walk away.

We're usually usually put up at another hotel when we're in town (I work remote for a SF based company) and this time I stayed at this Hilton. Great location as it was in the middle of everything (including being near the ghetto) and it was a great price. They upgraded me to a suite with a balcony, which was a delight! Nice staff, good room service, and all around a great say.

Siam Thai around the block is a really great restaurant, its quaint. Also Supperclub was a fun experience. Slide is another decent club on 2nd street and 657 harrison. Also Red Room around Tenderloin is a great place to hang out with mates, its not over the top and it certainly isnt loud.

We were booked into a "smoking room" the first night, despite a request for non-smoking.The hotel was full--and despite its cleanliness, the room smelled like an ashtray. We were moved to non-smoking the next day.Staff is efficient, amenities abound--and although the hotel is rather non-descript in its convention-like ambiance--it was a perfect place for the intense busy weekend spent in SF.
