I stayed one night at the Hotel Diva, it was wonderful. The internet lounges on almost every floor allowed me to leave my laptop at home, and the bussiness center even has free printing (for my boarding pass!). My only small complaint would be the street noise. If you are a senstive sleeper, you will probably have trouble. Great H2O bath ammenties and comfy beds.

I only stayed at this place because a fellow co-worker booked this hotel first based on a recommendation from our training facility. The rooms are the smallest I have ever been. Luckily I was only there for a week long training and stayed in the room by myself, otherwise it would be too cramped with my wife. Maybe that is the way it is in most San Fransisco hotels. The elevator usually didn't work in the mornings and I had to walk down the stairs from the 6th floor. Other than the issues I had, the hotel was in a great location, 2 blocks away from Union Square. I'll pass on this hotel next time. There are many other hotels in the area that are much nicer.

Minimalist hotel. Tiny lobby, tiny rooms, but right by Union Square. Beds were comfortable. Had an issue with the bathroom - tile needs to be replaced; shower head sprayed partly horizontal so water got on the floor. But I don't go to San Francisco to spend time in a hotel room. The hotel staff was great, especially the concierge who was not only extremely helpful but had a great sense of humor. Will probably use this hotel for future trips to San Francisco.

The people there were great and helpful. However I found the pictures to show the rooms as much cleaner and newer then they were. A small, old dirty building made to look new and modern without actually updating things isn't my style. If you aren't going to stay in the room other than to shower and sleep it would work nicely, but to hang out and relaxe I wouldn't suggest it. I hate to not be able to say better things about the place because the people were so wonderful, but it was a let down when I got to our room. The parking cost more daily than my rental car and that was a surprise I could have gone without. Good location if you want to be right Down Town, everything within walking distance, thats nice. Oh a good note the beds are awesome, comfy beds=good nights sleep.

We stayed here for three nights in September 2008. Whilst the bed was very comfortable, the room was very small and the hotel so very noisy. Being located near Union Square, we were always going to hear fire engines etc however the biggest noise came from the creaks within the hotel. We were located on the 6th floor and everytime someone on the floor above moved, the hotel would creak. This went on all through the night. We were also located near the entrance to a lounge which people would access throughout the evening. The door banged all evening. There was also no view from the window and we were also awoken with very noisy garbage collection. Great location but too noisy!

Comfortable stay for a lower price in SF! Small rooms--but centrally located and enough of what you need. No hotel restaurant, but there is a Jack n' the Box next door!

Small lobby, but has a nice vibe. Starbucks next door, accessible from the lobby. Great location, a block from Union Square. Nice beds, flat screen TV's. Rooms on the small side, but good value.

our stay at the Diva was fun. located two blocks from Union square with all its shops it was the perfect location. staff was always very friendly and laid back, modern, clean room. wireless internet connection for free. valet parking was a bit of a hassle (20+ minutes wait) but that seems to be normal in SF... overall thumnbs up for the Diva
