Japantown is an interesting area of SF. Quiet, safe, and easy to walk or take buses to other areas of the city.

I love this hotel. My second stay and I had some issues with the first room I was assigned. Within 30 minutes I was moved to another room which was excellent and had a great stay. Not in the regular tourist area and quite central if you know your way around San Francisco at all. Great ambiance and a helpful, pleasant staff.

My Husband took me to this hotel for my birthday and it was amazing. we stayed in one of the corner king rooms. It had amazing views, comfortable bed. very spacious room. the decor was beautiful. we can't wait to go again. we make many trips to San Francisco and plan on staying many nights at Kabuki!!

The Hotel Kabuki is an oasis in the heart of San Francisco. It is located in the Japantown area of the Fillmore District, with great shopping and dining within walking distance of 2-3 blocks. The staff exhbited the finest in Japanese politeness, and when you walked through the revolving door into the lobby, the atmosphere induced relaxation. This is a hotel that we will definetly stay in again when we make a weekend getaway to the City by the Bay.

Check out the Palace of Fine Arts, the De Young and the SFMOMA. If you like Jazz music Yoshi's is wonderful and its within walking distance of the hotel.

The hotel room was large, fully handicap accessible / disability freindly. The staff were amazing. A bellman met me in the hallway (on my way to the front desk) and stored my luggage and arranged transportation to the airport. Great staff, nice place!
