Exploratorium is a must for the kids as well as The Arcade museum on fishermans Wharf. Also to get away from the city and cross the Golden Gate Bridge, try Muir Woods, the hiking trails are wonderful and the deer are not afraid to come within 5 feet.

My 5 day stay at the Mark Twain was a pleasure. With the hotel's many high points, comfort, cleanliness, location...., was its staff. Professional ease with a sincere friendliness. They truly make you feel like a guest to their hotel.

The hotel itself was very nice and very unique. Staff was very friendly. The wireless network they advertise, however, is really bad. It took me over an hour just to look up a few things on Google... I kept getting booted off.

The hotel staff was incredibly friendly, but the overnight stay was extremely noisy. Our room faced the Westin hotel. The windows are single pained (and dirty). We listened to Friday night partiers, trucks backing up (with back up sirens), police sirens and a homeless person. This did not make for a good nights sleep.

This hotel is about 4 blocks from union square, the shopping district, where the world famous cable car is located. It is about 10 blocks from chinatown. it is definitely a good hotel.

I didn't pay much to stay at the Twain so my expectations weren't the same as if I was walking into the Hilton. All I wanted was a bed for the night so I could sleep off a night out in S.F. Unfortunately my only requisite wasn't met when I got home to find the heater had kicked on and sounded like a techno song on high volume. It kept me most of the night.

We went to the Cliff House for dinner *A MUST!* It has amazing views and the food was awesome. We ate in the bistro part and I had a seafood pasta dish called frutti something.

Close to metro BART coming from airport in 30 minutes for $5,5 and major streets Powell and Market, and Union Square, center of the SFO move. Free WiFi at nearby Union Square.
