staff very friendly, room very clean and comfortable, bathroom a bit small, hotel bar closes a bit early, needs a minibar in room.

A lovely position, very central, very clean and a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Although our stay was short we would not hesitate to recommend the King George and would hope to return to your beautiful City and the King George one day.

We had a great stay, the hotel is in a great location just minutes wawy from everything! You can get the BART train from the airport to Powell station and walk 2 mins to the hotel it is only $5 a ticket- much cheaper than a taxi. It is cold on a night though bring warm clothing!

The hotel is only 5 mins walk from Union square. The rooms are on the small side but are clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. There is only one elevator serving the hotel which at peak times is rather busy and this can be a problem especially when the only ice machine is located on the ground floor. Parking is across the street and at 29 dollars a day (not cheap) but you're in the heart of the city so you pay the price. All in all it was just what we wanted. Somewhere to have a wash and brush up and a good nights sleep and all at an affordable rate....The rest is up to you.
