Good choice for families with babies/toddlers. Plenty of room to put up the portable crib. Within walking distance of great shopping and Chinatown. Only negative is there aren't a lot of choices for eating out with kids in the immediate neighborhood.

I liked this hotel because you didn't hear your neighbors or the people outside. Not too many places I can say that about.

Our family stayed here for 2 nights over a long weekend to go to the Giants game and play in San Franciso. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk to AT&T park and even closer to Yerba Buena and the San Franciso Museum of Modern Art. Close, clean and convenient, we'll stay here again.

The room with 2 comfortable queen beds and a good quality sofa bed was just right for our family (parents, a 15 yr old girl, 12 yr old boy); the pool and free internet access were also great. Only two downsides I can think of--the Courtyard doesn't include any type of free breakfast and the onsite restaurant/room service was too expensive for our family and the location was a bit far from Union Square (15-20 minute walk). However, it would be a great hotel for anyone going to see a Giants game or to events at Moscone Center. The quality of the accomodations, especially for the price paid, more than made up for any drawbacks and we would happily stay at the Courtyard again.

We walked into an inviting atmosphere, with a comfortable living room area just past the lobby: large armchairs, Oriental carpets, friendly service, and free use of the computers. There is also a bar, which never gets too noisy, a pool, and a workout room. The rooms are large and peaceful, since the hotel has a convenient location but is not right in the hubbub of Union Square. (It's a ten-minute walk.)The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

Great hotel, friendly staff. Have stayed before and both experiences were great. Close safe walk to Giants ball park. Starbucks inside hotel and breakfast at Jasmine's was very good, though rather pricy.

Cozy, convenient and close enough to public transit, but not smack dab in the middle of the masses.

The bed was one of the best I've ever come to rest in after a long day of education and training. It was like being craddled. I slept great!
