The lobby was always crowded with big groups of people..the staff was friendly...the pay per view movies (in the room) didn't work properly. (We had to call twice.)The location was great for shopping downtown.

This is a nice hotel. It's in a good location, close to everything. Comfortable beds, but our room was very stuffy because it only had one air vent blowing accross the window, not into the room.

The hotel was easy to get to and from SFO airport on the BART. The BART drops you off 1/2 a block from the hotel. Cost was only 5.35 each way $15 on shuttle. Concierge's were helpful and friendly. Hertz rental was conviently located in the hotel lobby for the day trip we booked to wine country. Hotel is centally located to trolley's and Muni- transportation and the BART.

Hertz rental car is inside the hotel for easy access. Cars should be rented daily so as to skip the fifty buck overnight parking fee. Add ten bucks to the cost of the car rental for mandatory valet retrieval fee. The "30" bus stops in front of the hotel giving a cheap ride to China Town, North Beach and Fisherman's Wharf. Buy your bottled water at the Walgreens just around the corner.

Take the BART in from the airport and purchase a pass for the muni transportation system in San Francisco.

Just hop on the "F" train (train car) and go to Pier 39. Public transportation is the best in SF. Remmeber, the "F" train ticket can be used both ways.
