Nice decor, great location.Showing some wear, but overall a pleasant stay for the price. L'Occitane amenites & Frette robe were a nice touch. Wolfgang Puck's Postrio restaurant is located in the hotel. You don't need to go any further to enjoy a wonderful meal.It looks small, because you see the more casual dining/bar area in front, but the formal restaurant is in the back of the hotel.Both were excellent.

I have been to San Francisco three times in the past six years and have been going back to stay at the Prescott mainly for it's bed and breakfast feel in spite its proximity to Union Square. Don't settle for anything less than a suite though. On this most recent trip, I opted for a deluxe accomodation and there was a stark difference in room size and the decor of the room. A difference of a hundred dollars or so.

This was a well located, well appointed hotel. The staff were helpful, even when they failed to deliver my laptop from the bellhop room and needed to Fedex it back to me! The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. Great pizza in the Bar downstairs too.

The Prescott has a great location, but that's definately not the only thing it offers - the hotel gives great value for money, the rooms are comfortable, and the service is exccelent.

The Prescott is centrally located in Union square area and so convenient to all San Fran has to offer. The BART from the airport so easy then only 4 blocks. The wine in the evening is a nice touch too.Very friendly staff and the rooms although small very comfortable and well outfitted. Well done Kimpton!

centrally located -liked the boutique feeling- very friendly staff- loved the nightly wine tasting- consierge very helpful planning wine tour and tickets to theater- room was nicely appointed-only complaint- bathroom very small -i would definitely stay their again

We had a blast!!! Great location, cute and eco friendly hotel (the room was only a tiny bit smaller than I expected with an OK view). Loved it! We'd stay there again. :-)

Hotel was kept up very well. Walking distance to all she shopping, Chinatown and even Little Italy. Price was very affordable. Room was small but bed was better than other hotels that charge more. Bathroom was also quite small. The staff was quite helpful. One gripe: valet was quite expensive.
