see all hotels in Fisherman's Wharf"A few problems"by E from London
The hotel itself was lovely, the decor really great. But on the first day there was water coming through my ceiling from the room above and I had to move rooms which was a bit of a hassle. I was told that it was in all probability an overflow of the toilet from the room above. I got the feeling that this was something that happened not infrequently! In fairness the staff were very speedy in making the arrangements for the move. As luck would have it, I could move to the room next door. The breakfast was very expensive for what it was, about £36 for two for a buffet with not much choice. On one day, there was hardly any food, virtually everything had run out and was waiting to be replaced. I complained and we got a free breakfast the following day. In fairness they were very quick at sorting out all the problems. The Sheraton Group is in the process of putting free internet access into all it's hotel rooms, at present there is only wi-fi access. This will be great when it happens, because at present to use the hotel computers for internet access costs $5 for 8 minutes and you can quickly rack up large charges. The location is brilliant at it is right Fishermans Wharf and about 2 minutes walk from Pier 39. All in all I was impressed and the standard of room cleaniness/comfort was outstanding.
"Decor and ambience relaxing"by N from Ireland
Decor & ambience relaxing, staff helpful & cheerful; the noise from other rooms too easy to hear; the very pricey extra car park charge-cheaper alternatives across the road in public car park; but overall a nice experience.
"Nice hotel in good location"by S from London
Dont be fooled by the outside of this "Fishermans Wharf" location, the hotel is really nice, and the exterior looks pretty bland and "motel" like. Contemporary decor, comfy beds, friendly staff, and nice facilities, especially the gym. And for smokers out there, the hotel even has a number of sheltered outside seating areas with huge firepits so theres no need to get cold when the occasion to step outside arises. The only downside to this place was the lack of a mini bar or refrigerator in the room, which meant we couldnt keep fresh milk available to make hot drinks whenever we wanted. The location is great for fishermans wharf, literally one block from the embarcadero near pier 39, with the F train streetcar which goes through both the Financial District and the main shopping area on "Market" on its way to "The Castro" right outside and the Mason/Powell cable car a 5 minute walk up the road its in an ideal location for exploring the main sights the city has to offer. If i ever go back and need to stay centrally i would definitely consider this hotel again.

"Will use this hotel again"by P from London
This was our second stay in San Francisco. It is our intention to return and we will certainly stay The Sheraton again. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable.
"Nice but high parking fees"by J from Oxford
Really nice hotel but disappointed by the $43 a day parking charge which wasn't mentioned until check-in.
"Good Trip"by K from Yorkshire
Very nice hotel
"Request a room without an ajoining room"by L from Edinburgh, Scotland
The original room we were given in the building opposite reception. Very noisy, heard next door neighbours being sick and every word of their conversation - not pleasant! Asked to be moved to another room in main building. Much better & much quieter. Room clenliness was good except last day - maid missed a few things like leaving empty dirty wine glasses sitting.
"Very Impressed"by J from UK
A great hotel well situated for Fisherman's Wharf, the cable cars and piers of San Francisco - great value and highly recommended.
