The Sheraton had a great location to Fishermans Wharf and public transportation. However the location of the rooms in the hotel on the street side were very noisy. It was disruptive to sleep. The room was very small and I was told there were no rollaway beds available at this hotel even though the option was available upon booking. Internet should be free in the Lobby and breakfast in the lobby was a little overpriced at 20.00+ a head. The location was great but next time I would opt for a more comfy hotel in a less convenient location. Also was musty smelling and a lot of people smoking very close to or in the hotel itself. Employees didn't seem to care.

If you are parking a vehicle for over 24 hrs leave it across the street at the parking garage - save $13 a day. They also charge a parking tax - guess that is normal in San Fransisco. Cheaper to fly in and use public transportation than to park.

The hotel had a was in a good location, had a good gym and a decent pool. However, the room we were given overlooked the valet parking area and was extremely noisy. In addition, it had no air conditioning and the windows barely opened. Overall very poor value for money.

Bring a fleece if you are staying in San Francisco. Dont be fooled into thinking its hot there. Just look at the shops on Fishermans Wharf - they all sell fleeces....

If your only planning to see the Fisherman's Wharf then take a cab because parking a rented car will cost you $50.00 a day at the Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf. That's an additional cost that you don't find out until you get there.

If you have a car and time, check out Muir Woods. It is beautiful, a hidden treasure on the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge.
