Very close to shopping and lots of restaurants. Also trolley car stop right outside the door of the hotel.

Harry Denton's on the 21st floor. Where else can you go and pay $15 to get into a bar to buy $13 martini's?

If you are going to be in the hotel on a Sunday you should book for the Sundays A Drag Show in The Starlight Room on top of the hotel. It was a a fun afternoon. They also do great cocktails.

Eat breakfast at Sear's across the way..the silver dollar pancakes are to die for and google free dble decker ride from Union Sq. to wharf. The 80 min. boat cruise was the best value for $18 when you get it online.

If you plan on using the cable car and buses to get to places, purchase a 3 day or 7 day Muni Pass. We made up the cost of a 3 day pass in one day!

Get the "Go Card" it is well work the cost. The discounts and freebies more than excede the expense. I found the card very convenient.

This hotel was great. Everyone on the staff was extremely helpful and wonderful to be around. The rooms were a bit small but extremely nice and clean. I give this hotel very high marks and would recommend this to anyone heading to San Francisco. The cable car picks you up right outside the front door which is also a plus.
