The hotel was clean and well presented, and the staff were helpful at the registration desk. The rooms were clean, but small, with thin walls. All in all good value for the money.

the hotel is located in SF down town, so it was very convenient to go anywhere. the room was very clean and well-organized. but you may feel narrow though it was enough room for me to take a rest. the hotel itself seems to have long history and a retro. night time was a little bit noisy but you may have to put up with this because it is located in down town.

Hotel honoured my request for a quiet room away from the elevator shaft. Slept 4 nights in absolute peace and quiet (room 603). The staff was friendly, helpful and allowed me extra time for check-out. Never had to wait for the shower or restroom. The occasional smell of marijuana in the hallways lent the Victorian ambiance a touch of hipster decadence and, oddly enough, enhanced the quaintness of the place. Guests exchanged greetings every morning, and even the cleaning staff seemed cheerful After taking BART from SFO, the walk is less than 5 minutes to the hotel. I will definitely stay here again in future trips to San Fran!

This is my 3rd stay at the Mosser and it's looking better than ever. I love that you can get a shared-bath room, and not pay for what you don't need. Room rates are a godsend in a city as expen$ive as San Francisoco. The room was small but perfectly acceptable. The Comfortable bed and the location is superb-- one block to Market Street, a BART stop, and a cable car line. What more could you ask for? Front desk was very nice and helpful. I would absolutely stay there again.

It was our 1st trip to San Francisco my best friend and me. we loved everything about this hotel, great food, great service. Yeah the rooms were small but cute and really good decor

I totally recommend this hotel. The rooms were very small (we had the standard w/ private bath) but clean. I did notice 2-3 bathrooms on each floor which were never in use when I passed them for a week, so if you are on a budget sharing a bathroom is not a bad option. Their was tv in the room, only wish their place to hang clothes, nonetheless it was a pleasant experience. Staff was good, let us store our luggage for the entire day until our flight. Location was amazing, steps away from great shopping (try the westfield mall....amazing food court!!) Thanks Mosser, would defn stay again, but maybe in the bigger room!!

The price for the single "bathroom down the hall" room is right, and great for a cheap one persaon stay in SF. The bathroom/shower setup works great. But beware that the cheapest room really is tiny -- maybe 12 x 13 ft, the bed is the chair, and there is no real climate control, so you have to air out the room to cool it down.

Great price for the location (just a block or so from Union Square). Close to restaurants, shops, and public transportation. Service was friendly and professional. While the rooms are quite small, they have style.
