only disappointment was I reserved a room with two double beds and when we got there, there was only single king beds. Three of us had to share one bed. Otherwise, everything ran smoothly. good location. lots of eating places near by.

This hotel has a great location, clean rooms, windows open a bit for fresh air flow. Fast internet with comfortable working table. Concierge was wonderful with perfect dinning suggestions. One of the most comfortable beds and most important for me was that it's a no smoking hotel!!!!

The front desk was very friendly. We had a very plesant stay. The rooms are slightly small, but very comfortable and clean.

The rooms were barely cleaned. the sheets I know were not clean or changed after a room cleaning. The service was laxed. They did the minimal possible. For the rediculous price that it was,you can find much beter.

We had planned on going across town for dinner but ended up very happy eating in the downtown mall one block away. There are many choices from fine dine to quick and we were very happy with all of our selections. The South of Market Street area also has lots of wonderful dining venues and you are adjacent to Union Square for even more.

The Pickwick was very conveniently located and we enjoyed our stay there very much. The rooms were a bit on the small side but were clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was helpful and we had a great experience with all at the hotel. We'd stay there again.

You do not need to rent a car, parking is a premium. Coming from the San Francisco Airport you get off at the Powell station using BART. Local transportation is plentiful using BART, MUNI, cable car or bus. Chinatown and the Embarcadero is walkable, Fisherman Wharf is a distance to work up an appetite.

If it wasn't such a great price I wouldn't of even given it a chance. It needs a lot of things repaired, gym equipment and Television had issues and A/C was a little out dated but it was fine for the short time I was there.
