see all hotels in Union Square - Convention Center"Good Location - bad ventilation"by V from LONDON
The Hotel was very nice in a great location. But the Air conditioning in the room was terrible. Despite turning the temperature right down the first night was unbearable as the room did not cool down, it was very hot & stuffy as a result of the AC vent being in an awkward position (in the bathroom - no vent in the room!!). After speaking to reception the following morning nothing was done other than the temparature being turned down to 15 for the whole day (while we were out sightseeing), making it awfully cold, so another sleeplessness night.
"Very Nice Hotel"by G from Dublin
Friendly staff and very good service. Very central location. Restaraunt offered good quality food but was too noisy after 8 p.m. due to adjacent bar.
"Good Hotel in excellent location"by J from Kent, England
We were very pleased with this hotel, friendly and helpful staff, good location for central SF, close to Bart stations giving direct access to SFO airport. Very comfortable bed and the room was well equipped, we did not use the restaurant as we preferred to eat out. There was a variety of good eating places in close proximity to the hotel. We would definately stay at the Westin again.
"more for business"by j from london
had a great 3 days in san francisco, hotel good base but more set up for busiiness than leisure customers, westin st francis in better position but much more expensive, since we spent most of our time sightseeing this was not a major issue
"Brilliant Time"by A from Dublin
We stayed two nights . The location, staff, room, and everything else were excellent! I highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in San Francisco.
"Great hotel excellent location"by G from Liverpool
Lovely hotel near shops, Cable car Powell Street. Fantastic beds! Great gym. Very helpful concierge. Had to pay extra for wireless internet which seems to be the case in a lot of the big cities in US. Thoroughly recommend. Price of wine extortionate though.
"Comfortable and excellent location"by C from London
We - a family of two adults, two teenage kids - stayed several nights at the Westin. Very comfortable beds, clean, good service - great location for downtown (every shop a teenager could desire within ten minutes' walk) and for getting onto the 101 freeway heading south, if you're driving out of town. Would definitely stay there again.
"Very nice modern hotel in the center of it all"by Z from London
We were very happy with this modern, clean and quiet hotel which is at a very good location. We loved the comfortable bed, the huge LCD TV and the overall big room. Was easy to get to everywhere - we mainly walked though - and it is in the centre of downtown, safe and nice area with lot of restaurants around. Would recommend to business and leisure as well.
