nice enough but expensive

The room was OK... we paid 189/night which seemed like way too much for a motel, but was all that was left during outside lands. Good location - close to bus stops to get to haight and GG Park.

Small rooms

The room with 2 queen beds was not big enough for more than 2 adults. A lot of noise from the street, but that must be expected in a big city. Very close to Union Square and about 30 minutes walk to the Piers.

great location for cheap

dont be afraid to take any of the number of public transports. its easy and they all go by there.

Grouchy staff

I wanted to check in early, the lady at the counter gave me the impression that they do not need me as a customer because they are fully booked and they could not accommodate my request for early check in. I overheard a couple behind me at the desk that they have bed bug bites and was planning on getting their money money back to move to other hotels.

ITSADUMP

Excellent DT location for walkers. Questionable neighbourhood. No services. Dreadful breakfast. Good WiFi. Varied clientelle: kids, tourists, business people. Many strange looking people coming and going. Good price point.
