Make sure to take a walk over the Golden Gate Bridge it's really special but dress warmly!

great location if you're doing the escape from alcatraz triathlon. BUT if you drive, be prepared to lose your parking spot. the pizza place next door must have some agreement with the hotel to allow their delivery vehicles (sometimes 4 at a time) to use the very limited parking spaces. Use the city transit system.
