Beach, Universal Studios/Hollywood and more all within 17miles-/+ easy to get around either on a rental or taxi/shuttle. Airport just a couple miles away.

The hotel was magnificent! Everyone was really friendly, the service was excellent, and the rooms/bathroom looked brand new. The bed was extremely comfortable (queen size). This hotel was walking distance to the trolley station and within a block of a busy shopping center.

The best shopping in the Bay Area (maybe the West Coast) is Union Square. This hotel is right in the middle of it.

Villa Florence Hotel is a very nicely updated hotel right in Union Square. It is apparently an older building but has been modernized and decorated very tastefully. The service was great as well. Terrific hotel for the price; I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

This hotel is conveniently located adjacent to Union Square and great shopping, right on the street car line, just around the corner from the Curran Theater, close to Chinatown. A great location within walking distance of many attractions.

Nice hotel with a lot of charm. Only wish would be for a slightly larger bathroom. Hotel is kept up very well. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was under remodel. We did not have a stocked mini-bar or chair in the room. The phone had no cord from the phone to the wall source. Our wash cloths and hand towels were not replenished. We had a room on the street side and listened to the man on the corner play Red River Valley every night until about 1 AM. He only stopped because the garbage trucks arrived and the drivers shouted to one another, along with the back-up signals for the next several hours. It was exhausting. To make matters worse, we may have gotten some sleep, had we had a glass of wine from the complimentary wine bar--but it is a service that has been discontinued!

dont forget to park at union square underground garage, its convenient and cheap, only drawback, no ins and outs. its close enough so that my daughter and i were able to walk with our many bags to the hotel easily.

Lobby was still underconstruction. Rooms recently rennovated and were very comfortable. Nice radio, don't see that in many hotels these days. The restaurant is exceptional. Enjoyed our stay.
