Description


Location. Close to shopping and attractions, the Carriage House Inn Calgary offers premier services and amenities near the city's center. The hotel is within two kilometers of three malls and eight kilometers from the Calgary Stampede. Also, downtown Calgary, nine kilometers away, features an eclectic mixture of cultural sites, restaurants, bars and attractions, such as the Calgary Zoo and TELUS World of Science.
Hotel Features. Five on-site restaurants and bars serve casual and fine dining selections. Dudley's Lounge features video-lottery terminals and offers happy hours and daily specials. The Peanut's Pub features a rustic, dark-wood bar and deer heads mounted over the fireplace. The bakery serves fresh baked breaks, cookies and pies.

Recreations at the hotel include a seasonal, heated outdoor pool, spa tub, sauna and in-room massage treatments. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel.

Guestrooms. The ten-story Carriage House Inn Calgary offers a range of guestrooms with various styles and amenities. Suites have separate living and bedroom areas, bathrobes and views of the mountains or city. Some suites have two-person spa tubs.

All 157 rooms feature complimentary high-speed Internet access; other in-room amenities include wood armoires that contain cable/satellite television with premium channels. Coffee/tea makers are available. Microwave ovens and refrigerators are available upon request. Rooms have extra towels, linens and bedding.

Expert Tip. Because the east-west blocks of downtown Calgary are so long - around 15 minutes for five blocks - it is advisable to make use of the Plus-15 system, a series of enclosed walkways connecting downtown buildings one story above the street level.

I would recommend this hotel.

Although my room was a little small the cleanliness of the room made up for it. The staff was very professional, helpful and polite. The hotel restaurant was also a good place to eat with very personable and fast service.

Satisfied in Regina

Very close to Ikea, Chinook Mall and the Southcentre mall. There are a lot of smaller shops in the area. Easy to get downtown.

Great hotel BUT unprofessional front desk staff

Royal Tyrell Museum (dinosaurs) approx. 1 hour away. Downtown via C-Train in 10 mins.

Incredibly Impressed

The hotel room was nicely decorated. I may steal a few ideas for my own house. The staff were helpful to the best of their ability. Hotel is close to Chinook Mall, the highway and downtown. There are plenty of restaurants close by to choose from and there are some in the hotel as well. I will definitely stay here the next time I am visiting Calgary.

Great, great hotel. Great, great value

We did not expect much for the price of the hotel since it was one of the cheapest. However everything was incredible. Friendly staff, clean nice rooms, comfy beds, complimentary cookies and bathroom products(lotions, chapstick, shampoo, ect). One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in for great value.
