I recently stayed at this hotel on a quick trip to Edmonton, and really enjoyed it. The desk staff was friendly and let me check in hours early, the breakfast in the restaurant downstairs was good, and while the internet was a little slow, it was nice to have a good wireless connection.

The biggest and really the only concern I had was the noise from near by construction. It appears that a new multi storey condo complex is going up beside the hotel. A little nasty waking up to construction work at 0700 on Saturday morning. The food was good, breakfast buffet was excellent. The location is only minutes from anything you would want to visit in Edmonton.

adequate restaurant, watch out for the hot water in the shower since it is difficult to regulate, slow in replacing light bulb, good value for the price

I arrived after 3pm and my room was not ready. I was told that I would have to wait for an hour... I was able to move my flight up by an hour in order to allow me an our to prepare for my evening meetings, only to be informed that my room was not avaialble for another hour. After insisting to getting a room I was put into a little dump of a room with some old furniture and a wiew of a roof top air conditioner. I will not go back.

We had to pay $10 a night to park. I was not happy. That would be enough to keep me from coming back.

The staff were very unhelpful, in fact if there was an award for delivering poor service these guys would win..if they could be bothered, which based on our experience they couldn't. The fittings in the room were falling off, the pool was cold & the drinks machines were empty. It is a $25 cab ride to the mall, contrary their statement that the mall is nearby. Pay the extra & stay somewhere better & nearer to someplace worth visiting.
