Air conditioning did not work, found somone elses dirty sock under a chair, a used face cloth was left hanging on the shower head, floor was more comfortable than the bed.

I had the King room and it was very nice & clean. Staffs were wonderful. Good location, easy to use public transportation. Over all a very satisfied stay.

Yorkdale shopping mall was a relatively short drive away (15 mins) with a wide range of shops. If you are going to do more activities downtown in Toronto, then consider staying in a hotel closer to the action. It was approx a 45 min downtown drive due to traffic.

This hotel may look decent from the outside, but inside there are areas that are run down. The guest entrance on the side was suppose to be accessible only with hotel key, but the many times I accessed it, the door was left partially open. Elevators could use a coat of paint. The phone in my room did not work. The sink had rust stains. On the positive side, the A/C worked very well.

There are lots of restaurants near this hotel -try the airport strip or Yonge St north. Explore the area!

The hotel was neat and clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the complimentary continental breakfast was satisfactory. It was not particularly fancy, but for being complimentary, my family found it adequate. For the price range, I was most pleased with this hotel and would return and recommend it to other travellers wanting a basic, but clean and well kept hotel. I also noted that the noise level was very low, which is more than I can say for many higher priced, higher end hotels where I have stayed.

This hotel was obviously elegant in it's day, but time has taken it's toll. Needs updating (fresh paint and such). The young man at the front desk made a rude remark about smelling smoke on us as we arrived (we booked a smoking room and incidentally had not recently had a cigarette). Not a pleasant welcome! Then no mention of the contenintal breakfast and the internet access is wireless and the signal is weak in some areas. To use my computer, I had to go to the main hallway to get a signal.

First room the sofa bed had a broken leg stained carpets, TV ON Off switch not to be found. The second room broken leg on the sofa bed (repaired by maintenance within 10 minutes with a piece of 2x4). Stained carpets, cigarette burns in the drapes, stained bedding etc.. To make things worst I had purchased this three day stay with breakfast and the hotel only honored it after I spent several minutes arguing and calling Expedia. Really not worth the pain!
