We had a great deal on this hotel room via Expedia, a fraction of the price... So, that made it worth the stay. The staff was very pleasant and we were not disturbed at all during our 7 nights stay.

Certainly not a 3 star. This chain used to have decent quality but it seems to have slipped since I last used them.

Go for the Business class at the Gouverneur. last time we had the regular and it was a bit small. even with some friends it was rather comfy. the tv was old, but eh. a few min walk from the club, university, shopping mall. what else do you want in a hotel? heck, for the 3 nights no other place could compare in room size for the price.

Nice central location for shopping and is near autoroutes. Beds are a bit harder than I like.

Overall, good. One feature I liked: The opportunity to practise recycling. A separate recycling bin was provided to dispose of my used newspapers, in addition to a regular garbage can for garbage. One improvement I would recommend: Would have liked to see lights in the suite controlled individually, rather than by all one switch.
