Get the city bus schedule and work around it if you have the time. They go just about everywhere. You'll save big bucks.

The suite was well appointed and very clean. The staff was friendly and at your service but not in your face. The casino was clean, well staffed, and smoke free. The sit down resturants were well staffed and a variety of foods offered. The buffet was leaning more to Asian foods.

We enjoyed the pool area but wished more sun could get into the room. They have a spa but we did not partake of its services. The casino staff is polite and helpful.

This is a newer hotel and casino. The room was probably the nicest room for the price we've ever stayed in. A very plush king size bed with down duvet located in a separate room from sitting area. Large bathroom with all the amenities. Just a very pleasant stay.

Nice hotel outside of the city. Well sound-proofed from airport noise. Not luxurious, but very nice accomodations. The one-bedroom suite was quite spacious. Staff was very pleasant, helpful. Currently undergoing construction, expansion, so some noise in the mornings, temporarily.

absolutely great service from the time i pulled onto the property to when i left. quick and convenient valet parking, extremely knowledgeable staff and immaculate rooms were just the beginning. i truly felt like i was a 'guest' at a hotel, not just a customer. beautiful clean rooms, comfortable bed and lots of room to move around in. didn't see the hotel outside of walking from valet to reception to my room and back but will definitely include time for my next stay to take advantage of the hotel's other offerings. will be making the river rock casino hotel a stop on my next visit to vancouver (it's even worth the 25 minute drive downtown where most time was spent).

Our suite with two king bedrooms was awesome and the beds were like sleeping on a cloud with top quality linens too. The buffet was extensive both lunch and dinner and the River Rock Chowder was great. A lovely massage and spa package for mother-daughter was awesome, and our during the week stay meant we often had the pool and hot tub to ourselves. The only drawback was the distance from the main attractions, resulting in cab fare of at least $50 a day. This will resolve when the skytrain access is completed. Also not much in the immediate area to do or see. I would recommend this hotel for adults, business travellers but not so much for families as entertainment for kids is limited onsite.
