The hotel is reasonable for the price, and the service recieved from the staff was excellent. The food provided in the hotel was not to our liking and a little disappointing. The selection at breakfast was vast but lacked taste, it was more a chase of quantity as opposed to quality. The evening meals provided were of a similar standard and it better to take a trip to the Old Town for a greater selection.

We did a day trip to Tallinn from Helsinki, but I think I would recommend you do it the other way around. Tallinn is a lovely place to sit and people watch.

The entrance and foyer of the Reval Central were nice modern spaces and well looked after, however our room, although basic did not reflect this standard. The room could have done with a little updating and a thorough dusting, though the beds and the bathroom were clean. On the plus side, the hotel was ideal for strolling into the old town and easy to get to. Tallinn is a beautiful City with lots to do and see and I would recommend everyone visit!

This our second time in three years to stay here. Very close to the "old town" Buffet breakfast excellent.

You can not miss the old town with its medieaval towers and ramparts and some of the oldest churches in Eastern Europe. the town square often has free entertainment and the outdoor restaurants surrounding the square are great for a liesurly drink or meal. You can climb up ancient cobblestone roads to the top of the battlements.

Do visit the Rocca-al-Mare Open Air Museum of Estonian Life. You can get there by taking the No 6 and 7 Trolley bus from the Viru Shopping Mall (near the hotel). Get off at the Zoo, walk down to the coast road and then turn left. It's a 15 minute walk.
