Very nice hotel in a very good location. We really enjoyed it and the suite was excellent. However, one major bugbear - parking for our rental car was $22.26 per day!!. This is completely outrageous, and put a bad taste on an otherwise very good experience

Lovely hotel, near a large shopping mall [not the big one which was 10 miles away]. Some good restaurants nearby, and a beach just a short walk away, but the area near the beach was not too inviting. Hotel right on the waterway, and the water taxi stops on the hotel terrace. Wonderful views from our room.
""Great Location""by P from Leeds, England.
My husband and I picked this hotel because, having been to Fort Lauderdale many times before, we knew it was located perfectly for our vacation. Everything at the hotel was first class, the balcony view of the inland waterway, the large TV in the lounge plus one in the bedroom, the massive walk-in shower. However, the room's air conditioning was poor and, although they attended promptly, it couldn't be rectified and a fan was supplied. On different occasions the maid left used bed linen in the room, no toilet paper, took the bath mat and used towels and didn't replace them, and on check-out we phoned the concierge twice and guest services twice to have our bags collected but nobody came. We are both handicapped and, although it was quite an ordeal, in desperation we took our own luggage down (three trips) only to find the bellboys casually chatting to each other, parking cars and denying any knowledge of phone calls or messages.
