If you are looking for a non-Disney hotel, close to attractions yet away from International Dr this is your choice. The hotel is right across from Downtown Disney (walking distance), has good-sized, well-appointed rooms and a general nice atmosphere. Only negative was the time it takes to check-in. We may have just had bad timing but the desk seems understaffed.

This was not as discribed in package we bought. The room was an outside access room which was not mentioned. For saftey reasons if we new this beforehand I would not have reserved this room. Unfortunately this type of room also exposes the room to many bugs. We also had a difficult time getting the correct amount of towels and washcloths that we asked for. The only good point was the pool area,which was very nice but the other unfortunatly overshadowed. From what I could tell this hotel had some nice rooms in the main tower area but the older section was in sad need of repair and updating.

I must say that overall my stay at the Regal Sun Resort was nice. I had a Disney View Room that was very comfortable and worth the extra money. The pool area is amazing!! The Disney character breakfast was a big hit for my daughter. My only complaint is that the staff was a little slow.

The hotel was low average. The fixtures in our room were old and obviously worn. For instance, the shower featured dirty grout and rusty faucets. The TV was old and the picture rolled and was snowy. You also can't tell from the pictures that two wings of the hotel rooms have doors that open to the outside parking lot (like a motel). The redeeming factors were that the pool was very nice and that the lobby was just like its picture. If you choose this hotel and plan to use the shuttle bus to WDW, make sure you understand the bus route (they don't explain it well to you, in person or in writing).

This is a nice hotel, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The check-in process was a bit disorganized, they gave us a key to a room that would not open and then assigned us to a wrong room. The swimming pool is great for kids and my kids loved it. The only part we did not like was the so called "resort fee" that they charge at the end of your stay. They should include that in the initial hotel price and not surprise guests with extra charges at the end of their stay. Other than that, this is a nice hotel with a great location right across the street from Downton Disney.

If you go, Downtown Disney is within walking distance and is a great attraction for any time of day.

eat at earl of sandwidges they are cheap and tast great avl for all meals. make time to do downtown disney at night

This property is billed as being across the street from Downtown Disney and within walking distance. No bus service was provided to Downtown Disney. While the property is technically across the street, in practice it is a good half mile or more to the nearest shops and restaurants at Downtown Disney.
