The hotel is in a lovely setting next to a river. The interior is nicely designed, if a little dark - with lots of smoked glass. The staff were all polite and efficient. Our rooms were large and nicely decorated and cleaned promptly and well. Breakfast was expensive for what it was. I would have liked to have seen some hot food on offer, other than soft boiled eggs. The indoor pool was closed but there were two, heated outdoor pools. These were good but there was the odd feather and leaf in them. Lunch was tasty but took ages to arrive. Mini bar items were extremey expensive. I was disappointed that the gym didn't have a treadmill.
