Set two kilometers from downtown Nimes, known as the French Rome, the Provençal-style Les Aubuns Country Hôtel is set amongst fragrant oleander trees and Mediterranean gardens. The 20 guestrooms are decorated in simple blues and whites, with salmon pink bathrooms. All have cable television, telephones, complimentary wireless Internet access, and linens and towels.
Guests can get help with sightseeing tips from the hotel's multilingual staff; business travelers can make use of secretarial services. In the Provencal décor and informal atmosphere of the restaurant, or beside the pool, typical specialties of the region are served, as well as an array of French wines.
