Directions

Getting there. The RER line B rapid train service connects the airport with central Paris. Line B3 (Roissyrail) runs from the station at Terminal Two to Gare du Nord, Chatelet les Halles, St Michel and Denfert- Rochereau, for connections to the Metro. A single ticket costs 7.85 EUR. Roissybus shuttle serves all three terminals and runs to Place de l'Opera. Buses run every 15 minutes and a single ticket costs around 8 EUR. Air France shuttle buses stop next to the Arc de Triomphe. Paris is best explored on foot or using the fast, cheap and reliable Metro (underground) which traverses the city and its suburbs. Buses are a good way to see the city from above ground. Tickets can be bought on board buses or from machines in Metro stations and must be validated upon boarding. The RER regional train service connects the city with the surrounding area. Taxis can be hailed in the street but are hard to find at peak times and booking in advance in recommended. All prices subject to change.

Excellent hotel for central Paris

This is our second stay at the Empire Hotel. We were sight-seeing in Paris and the hotel is central, no transport was required. The facilities and the staff were perfect. It is also close to the metro link to the airport. Would go back without hesitation.

Chic Retreat

A chic boutique hotel in an excellent location near the Louvre. Service is a bit hit and miss, with some staff happy to help and others maintaining a Parisien aloofness at all times. However, overall an excellent hotel I would stay at again.

Very cool

Great location. Room was very chic. Shower is in the corner of the bathroom and has no shower curtain. You shower in the bathroom itself, basically. Worth the experience. Staff is very friendly and helpful. No complaints. Highly recommend.

Great Location, Staff and Rooms!!

Had a wonderful three night stay over easter. It is a fantastic location close to metro and train stations. It is also ideal for sightseeing, being close to the river, shops and the Louvre museum. Hotel facilities were immaculate with extremely comfy beds. The dressing gowns and slippers were also very nice addittions. The staff were polite, attentive and always keen to help. They were very helpful with directions and local amenities. The umbrellas by the door were very welcome on a raining evening. We would definately stay at this hotel again.

Great location and service

Don't be put off by the very understated entrance. We chose this hotel on the back of the reviews that said how good the service was - and they were right. Very friendly and welcoming staff made the stay a pleasure, and the location made getting about very easy. Highly recommended!
