Good area for restaurants. Loved the Thai/Vietnamese on same street and the eccentric Cuban Crocodile Verte was great fun

Red bus tours weren't much good, limited stops and the audio didn't work very well.Thought that the boat trip on the Seine at night was much more informative about the city and its buildings.

If you're planning on having breakfast at the hotel, get there early as it is very small and there aren't many tables. The food also tends to run out rather quickly. You're better off stopping by a local boulangerie (bakery) or pattiserie (pastry shop) for a croissant.

The metro is very cheap clean and reliable and easy to navigate if you get a map of it would highly reccomend.
