We booked this hotel for visiting the Christams markets and it couldn't have been better suited for us. A lovely hotel in a first rate location.

Great hotel, that was very central and wonderful comfortable beds. Only disappointment was not being able to get a restaurant reservation for 6 on our saturday night as it was very busy and raining which didn't help. The hotel would not let us book a table in any of their restaurants and said our only option was room service. Our 16 euro burger was cold and greasy! Would definitely stay at the hotel again but book outside restaurants early!

the maritim is in a great location within cologne, on the bank of the river. staff great, good facilities including pool and very clean. The decor is a good 10 years behind some 'trendy' hotels but if you can live with that...... stay there! you can even take your dog.London

Eat in the restaurant on the 5th floor and have a table overlooking the cathedral, it looks wonderful floodlit.

Great location, very smart hotel, perfect for a city break. Breakfast is very good, but if not included in price, at 17euros expensive.

I would stay here again. Staff friendly, speak excellent English. Brekfast buffet with huge selection of food, in comfortable surroundings watching the boats go up and down the Rhine. I had a fabulous half hour back and neck massage, after a swim and a sauna. Very centrally located for all the sights.
