Exactly what we wanted
Wall to ceiling glass for most of the room. The view looked out across the city. Only a few moments walk from Michigan Ave, the lake, the river and all the rest of the city. staff were fantastic, remembered our names - made it feel personal. Tempo cafe and the grand lux cafe just around the corner for great breakfasts. Sky bar quite busy, but downstairs chiiled and quiet. I spent 100+ nights away each year in hotels and they all look the same...apart from this one. Chic, clean and cheerful. Please go.

Great hotel in perfect location
Just back from a week in Chicago staying at the Dana. Great location just a couple of blocks off the Magnificent Mile, close to a metro station, and walking distance into the Loop. Enough restaurants in the neighbourhood to keep you eating well for longer than the week we were staying there. Staff was helpful, friendly and courteous. Only little downside was that the insulation is not the best I've ever experienced, so if you are unlucky to have neighbours who like to play video games all night, you'll probably hear them. Staff were happy to ask them to quieten down, or shift us to another room though.

Fantastic ambience. Very comfortable and elegant surroundings. Walk-in shower in the bedroom itself.
