My only disappointment is that the Expedia agent informed me there was a pool, when there in fact was not a pool at Hampton Inn. Other than that, our hotel stay was great. Very friendly staff. The complimentary shuttle bus was a life saver!! Beds were very comfortable. Great visit overall. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was very clean/nice. A great location to travel out of Midway airport with a very easy free 24hr. shuttle!!

Suggest that travellers get a flight into Midway rather than O'Hare. It takes 90 minutes to get from O'Hare to Midway, but only costs $2 and there is only one transfer at Clark in the Loop. Subway is slow but clean. The shuttle from Midway runs often and is only minutes away.

Because of the marathon, we had trouble finding a room downtown. This place worked out OK. Once you get outside the parking lot, the neighborhood is a bit seedy. Not scary, just seedy.
