"Would not recommend going to Naples at all"by J from Germany
We were advised by hotel staff the surrounding area was safe during the day but not at night. From what I saw during our trip, I don't think there's anyplace in Naples that would be. The hotel itself was okay, but the "bar" consists of 4 stools and very overpriced drinks. We booked a tour of Pompeii and Vesuvius through the City Vision brochure provided by the hotel. We were picked up in the morning, and it took over an hour to get through traffic and pick up people at the other hotels. Once we were under way, the tour was fantastic. I would recommend staying in Sorrento and booking your tours from there. Naples has a severe trash problem and the 2nd worst traffic I've ever seen, next to Cairo. We didn't really feel safe in any part of the city.

"Excellent location"by L from London
The hotel has excellent facilities and is really centaral for the metro, trains, buses and trams. The area is a bit run down but we were a party of 4 ladies and didn't feel threatened at any time. The hotel staff and the customer service is excellent and they are all extremely helpful. The breakfast buffet is very varied and there is lots of it.
