Hotel Features. Atlante Star Hotel is on a bustling tree-lined street, its front doors leading to a black marble staircase and up to the reception area and bar. The hotel offers a complimentary transfer from Rome Fiumicino Airport to the hotel, and return journey (surcharge), bookable at reception. Multilingual staff at the 24-hour front desk can provide tour assistance.

The hotel is renowned for the spectacular city views from its rooftop restaurant, Les Etoiles. A formal dining room with white linen tablecloths and high-backed chairs, the restaurant offers guests complimentary breakfast, and Italian cuisine for lunch and dinner. Great hotel!

My extended family of 4 and myself stayed in the Atlante Star Hotel and was very impressed with the overall qualify of the hotel. The room was comfortable, clean, and the air conditioner worked great, which made our return from a hot July day of touring Rome that much more pleasant! The location of the hotel is wonderful. Just a couple of blocks from the Vatican. We also walked to Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps. I recommend this hotel to others as it made our trip to Rome wonderful. I would definitely stay in this hotel again!

Will most probably revisit

Atlante Hotel is one of the cosiest and comfortable in the area. Situated in a great location, has one of the best restaurants on the top floor offering a magnificent view toward San Pietro.

Really quite good for Rome

the Vatican - do find a guide in the square, cost is not too bad, you jump most of the queue and get more out of the museum and Sistine Chapel.

Excellent hotel.

Excellent hotel and local to tourist attractions. The only thing we can criticise was the linen hand towels in the bathroom - very strange. However we are nit picking and would certainly return to the hotel in the future.

Fabulous stay in Rome

The Terravision bus link from the airport to Termini was very efficient and good value, but don't rely on it if returning to the airport early in the morning.

Good location for Vatican but not a four star hotel

My first time in Rome and I had a wonderful holiday. I was excited at staying at the Atlante Star Hotel and having looked on their website the hotel looked fantastic. On arrival, I was dissappointed. The room was small (I wasn't overly surprised at this though) and very dark and dingy. We were overlooking a dirty and smelly courtyard and opposite residential flats. There is no natural light in the room and with the room being small I really missed sunlight, it felt quite claustrophic inside. The air conditoning didn't work so we were hot in the night. There is only one mirror in the room, in the bathroom, so for the girls, there isn't a full length mirror, which for me wasn't ideal. The bathroom was nice, but again very dark. We were looking forward to a drink or two on the rooftop terrace bar, but on arrival we were told that it was closed until next year sometime. There isn't a real bar in the hotel, which I think is unacceptable for a 4 star hotel. They do sell drinks in a ground floor bar/room but it's deadly quiet and more like a library, also very small. Breakfast was fine and sets you up for the day, continental style and you have wonderful views of the Vatican as it's served in their (expensive) rooftop restaurant. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby for supplies. Overall wonderul holiday and great location, but not impressed with the hotel.

Excellent Accommodations

The hotel was excellent in every way. It was clean, neat, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant had excellent food and service. The location was outstanding - close to St. Peter's and many other sites. Would go back again for my next visit to Rome.
