Service was not very friendly and the breakfast served stale breads...room was lovely and cleaning service excellent.
"Small-simple-clean"by K from Dublin
First off the pictures shown here are very carfully taken and do not really reflect how the hotel looks, ie the pictures look better than reality. That been said we did get a room with a large balcony, although it overlooked a building site...... The rooms are small but nothing unusual for Rome there, nice bathroom and kept clean. Staff all sopke english and were helpful if asked. One thing I would say though is not to get them to arrange a taxi for you on your departure, we booked one the night before and were told it would be €50 to the airport. There is a standard fare in Rome of €30 to either airport from the city so the next morning we cancelled, walked out onto the street, hailed a taxi and saved €20. The hotel is within walking distance of everything, although Rome itself isn't that big so I think the same could be said for any hotel. All in all it served us well but doesn't stand out from the crowd!
"First impressions can be deceiving"by I from Surrey
There were no photos of the hotel and we soon realised why. The area is ok with plenty of restaurants and cafes but the actual hotel is in a tatty side street and hemmed in by a building site at the rear. Get through the front door; the staff are friendly, competent, helpful and multi-lingual. The public areas are clean and the food (Continental breakfast only) was good. The room was clean and in good condition. A room safe is provided free of charge. Overall it was good value for money and we would certainly use it again.
"Just right for the price"by D from Naples, Italy
Don't let other reviews scare you. This hotel was just right for the price. Typical European rooms which are on the small side. The breakfast was good.
