Description


Location. The Esperidi Resort complex of bungalows and chalets is located 250 metres from the beach in Sant'Agnello, two kilometres from the centre of typically Italian Sorrento. The seaside town of Positano is 7.5 kilometres from the hotel and Mount Faito is 8.5 kilometres away. Sant'Agnello's railway station is 500 metres from the hotel, and Naples International Airport (NAP) is 47 kilometres distance, an approximate driving time of 60 minutes.
Hotel Features.There is an outdoor swimming pool with a poolside bar, and the gardens have mature palms and banana trees and are 250 metres from the beach. The cookery school offers hands-on classes in traditional Italian and Neapolitan cuisines, including pizza-making demonstrations and a visit to a Mozzarella maker. Wireless Internet access (surcharge) is available, and complimentary parking is also offered for those with cars.

The Esperidi Restaurant Italian dishes in a contemporary room featuring Thai furnishings, with outdoor dining available, and the Poolside Bar offers a wide range of drinks ands snacks.

Bungalows and Chalets.The 53 single-storey bungalows and chalets have light decor and traditional furnishings. All are equipped with air conditioning, satellite television, safes and hair dryers. There is daily maid service and the kitchenettes have refrigerators, coffee/tea makers, cookware and dishes.

Expert Tip. Visit romantic Positano, 7.5 kilometres from the hotel, a jumble of pastel-coloured houses perched on the sea cliffs. Novelist John Steinbeck wrote, 'It is a dream place that isn't quite real when you are there, and becomes beckoningly real after you have gone.'

A different experience

If you don't feel up to walking Bus to sorrento is currently 1.1 euros and if you only want to stay a short while you may get back on the same ticket (they are valid for 3 hours) although we waited an hour one night for a Bus that did not come.

This is not a hotel

Sorrento is a small place where you can stay till late and still see torist everywhere. Go to pizza there is alot of good restuarants and downtown shopping

Great place to stay at an affordable price

The resort complex and grounds were extremely well maintained and pleasant. The pool area was great. Staff were very helpful informative and friendly. The room/ chalet was fairly basic and could do with a bit maintenance and finishing touches, but it was very clean and functional and the bed was very comfortable. The resoert is about 1 mile walk from Sorrnto,its a nice walk but if walking is not for you there is a bus stop directly opposite the resort which takes you into Sorrento to Marina Piccolo ( where the port is for boat trips to Capri and Amalfi and Positano. I would recommend this resort, great value for money
