Description


Location. Set in a peaceful residential area and surrounded by citrus groves, the Relais Francesca is a modern Mediterranean property located within five kilometres of Sorrento and Capri. Naples Airport (NAP) is situated 45 kilometres away and takes approximately an hour to reach by car.
Hotel Features. Guests wake up to a complimentary buffet breakfast each morning. Public areas area air-conditioned and there complimentary parking is provided.

Guestrooms. The eight air-conditioned guestrooms are spread over three floors, feature elegant, modern decor and include satellite television, minibars, safes and desks. Bathrooms have showers, makeup mirrors, hair dryers and complimentary toiletries.

Expert Tip. Ischia, located 30 kilometres from the hotel is famous for its hot thermal springs and volcanic mud. Further highlights include the Aragonese Castle, La Mortella Gardens, cultivated by the English composer William Walton and Villa La Columbia, dedicated to the life and work of the film-maker, Visconti.

Directions

Getting there. Buses run from the airport to Naples train station. Trains connect Naples with Piana di Sorrento station, 100 metres from the hotel. Taxis are available from the airport.

Driving directions. From the airport take the A3 Napoli-Salerno motorway following signs for Sorrentina and then take the SS145 to Sorrento. Drive through Meta until reaching Piano di Sorrento. Continue along the main street Corso Italia, and after 200 metres, turn right (by the Camomilla shop) into Bagnulo Street where the hotel is located.

Wish we stayed longer - beautiful

Pompeii - an audio guide is worth hiring - 5 Euros each.

Not impressed

Our room smelled horrible. We had to air it out for hours to get the smell out. The bathroom door would not close and you had to enter from the outside stairs at night. It was uncomfortable. Also, it is not in Sorrento as it appears.

Friendly Staff

Stay is affordable and close to the city center. When you get off Piano di Sorrento Train Station, turn left to get to Via Bagnulo and it is only less than 10 minutes from the train stop. The hotel will be on the right side of Via Bagnulo.
