"Lovely hotel!"

We went to Venice for a special birthday treat and were advised by a friend that this hotel was well placed and looked nice. Well, we totally agree! The hotel is literally 5 mins away from St Mark's square so central for all sightseeing and tours etc. The hotel itself was clean and welcoming. The staff were VERY helpful and spoke good English, nothing seemed too much trouble, even giving tips on where to go and how to do it as cheaply as possible, (very important in Vencie). The breakfast was satisfactory if a little limited in choice but you won't go hungry. I suppose the only thing which some people might not like is being so close to St Mark's square you can hear the bells from the clock tower, great alarm clock! We got used to these and actually missed them when we got home. Overall we had no complaints with this hotel and are sure the majority of people would like it. If we can ever afford to go back to Venice we would certainly consider using this hotel again.” 27/04/2009
