Perfect holiday for couples.Recommend going to all attractions .The Bassilica. The views from The Bell tower and Dorge,s Palace which are all in St mark,s Square. The Market near Rialto bridge is also good.Take a good pair of walking shoes .There is a lot of walking especially looking for a somewhere to eat.You can be ripped of,so choose wisely.Go for the tourist menu.Very reasonable and good quality.good holiday.will go back.

Buy your water bus passes and the trip to Venice and back to airport at the airport. Walk away from the central region and you will find cheaper deals on food and other items.

The hotel is close to the Vatican. The rooms are good. They have a bar that opens at 5 p.m. but no restaurant.

Within a few minutes you have St Marks Square on one side and the Rialto Bridge on the other. Get the water bus (line 1) from the airport direct to Rialto Bridge - 5 mins walk to hotel and really easy and no bridges to cross with your cases

I would stay at this hotel again but also check the prices of hotels located in the same area. there was a Best Western located on our street as well.

Firstly the negative..... i didnt really the feel room was especially attractive and the bed was quite uncomfortable..... That being said, the Hotel was clean, the breakfaast was nice and varied and the hotel staff were very helpful. By far the best thing about this hotel was the cost and the location. Literally get off the water taxi or bus at the Rialto bridge and walk the 4 mins to the hotel which is smack bang between the Rialto Bridge and Saint Marks Square. No more than 4 mins walk to both major landmarks. You couldn't ask to be more central.

Try to remember how to get to your hotel i;e nearby shops or restaurants, otherwise try looking for a needle in a haystack.

We can also recommend the restaurant next door the "Bistrot de Venise", it also hase artistics connections and offer hsitorical dishes from 14th century. Not cheap but ideal for the special meal. NB we rated Bellinis in the Danielli as better than Harry's Bar.
