Overall we enjoyed our stay at this nice quiet hotel with spacious rooms and good bed. Staff were all excellent with universally good English. Please note that the directions to the hotel are not very accurate and the maps we found of Venice were not as reliable as one might hope. It seemed like every other person we passed in the city was looking at a map and scratching their head. All part of the fun except when carrying a suitcase in the rail. We did not use the kitchen facility but be aware that there is an additional Euro50 charge if you do. Apparently this is to cover the additional cleaning. Cleaners must be well paid in Venice! I hope this does not sound too negative as we really enjoyed our short stay and will reserve the same hotel again next time we go to Venice.” 29/04/2009
